I also applied for their nursing program but my first choice was Compton center since that's where I completed all of my pre reqs. My overall score was a 42. I hope I get in because I'm really looking forward to graduate by 2016. Let me know if you get invited to take the TEAS test so I can see if I also got an invitation :)
The Compton center was my second choice. i also took most of my pre-reqs there because their classes just worked so much better with my work schedule. i've been checking my email daily to find out any news. i will keep you updated. today was the last day for applications so hopefully well hear something soon. best of luck!
Hi... I am a LVN and I applied for LVN to RN program in El camino college for Spring '14. I know for the generic program students they'll be sending the invitations to take the TEAS soon... But for the LVN - RN applicants when do they usually send the invitations for Step test/challenge exam? Or are they gonna send u any kind of letter if someone not selected for the program?
Best of Luck everyone...!!!

Hello fellow nursing students!!!
i just submitted my application to the nursing program (ADN) at El Camino College in Torrance, Ca. I have worked in the medical field for almost 10 years but have limited experience with hands on patient care. This is my first big step towards my career and i cannot be more excited :)
i am looking for any fellow students who are also prospectively trying to get in to this program.
i have already began to study for the TEAS even though invitations aren't released until mid October. Test dates would begin sometime in November (according to my counselor)
My overall point score was a 44 and according to my counselor the average points (to get accepted) range from 37-42 so i'm feeling really good about my chances :)
any response or feedback would be greatly appreciated!!! happy Tuesday all :)
