ECPI/MCI LPN Program - anyone?

I haven't posted here before..so it's nice to meet all of you =)

I was curious as to whether or not anyone here has gone to ECPI/MCI for their 12 month LPN program. I live in Manassas, VA so I go to their Manassas campus - however the ECPI's in Norfolk and VA Beach have programs as well. My reason for asking is that my class is the first LPN class (to start and graduate in December) for the Manassas campus..and we (my class) has had several issues with the way the school has been ran. I was just wanting to know if anyone had gone to this school, and if so - did you ever have any problems with staff, ways of teaching, rules, etc?? Thanks

At ECPI/MCI, After you graduate, do they give you your associate degree certificate if you still owe a balance on your tuition or do they give you your associate degree certificate after the full balance is paid? Will you be able to apply for work if you still owe a balance? 42K is a lot of money that is why I am asking.

Hello all, I recently began talking with MCI Raleigh, NC about their LPN program. They told me that the program costs $32,000 and that even with financial aid and student loans I still would probably end up paying around $180 per month...which I can't afford!

aside from the cost what did you think of the program? do they accept transfer credits? im in lvn school in texas @ a affordable cc but im just in a terrible place in my personal life and may need to relocate so im trying to find out my options

Im just looking for someone who has completed or currently in the LPN program at ecpi in Charlotte NC. I was thinking of enrolling this summer, but i'm unsure due to the amount of $31,000. I really just want to know how is the teachers and the class work there, and is it worth my time. Thanks.

When is your orientation? Ours is not until July 29th and our LPN program (VA beach) starts on Aug 1st. No info, no books no nothing until then. I'm getting quite annoyed with them. I have no clue what days clinicals will be and I can't seem to get any info out of them. (HELLO, I'm paying them:rolleyes:

I have to quit my FT job and find a PT job but I have no idea what hours I can work. All I know is the actual class is 8am until 4:30pm mon-fri. I think clinical hours can vary from 6:30 am until 11pm, just wish I could get more info. NOW!

Hi!! I am hoping that you are still in the system. How did this turn out for you? Today is 10-16-2011. I am wanting to start the ECPI school in January( Manassas, Va). I am concerned about getting a job right away. Who hires a newbee? Is there some kind of mentoring system in place??

hello rekeller2 i am attending ecpi Manassas now... I am in my 9th term and so far i am loving it. I have a friend who graduated here and got an job as soon as she graduated from the place she did her preceptorship at so it is possible.
