hi all,

this coming friday 1/16/09, ec and the oregon state board of nursing will finally authorize me to make the date (rn nclex that is)!

so just wondering if anyone has any helpful suggestions? it looks like you need to know everything about nursing, or at least i feel that way! are there any a&p questions? any advice would be helpful!

I'm not an RN yet (or done with the CPNE yet!), but I think it's so hard to say what a tester will get. I've heard of some that get lots of delegation, some get pharmacology, and dear souls like my husband who, 4 hours after he arrived at the testing center, said he's never answered so many questions about partial gastrectomies in his life. He took the max number of questions, too. He was not a happy camper about his test (a damned grump, actually), but he must have known enough about partial gastrectomies. :)

Best of luck to you! I'm thinking that someone with enough nerves of steel to do the EC program definitely has the chops for the NCLEX.

Saunder's 4th Ed Comprehensive Review. Do the questions on the CD. I took 100 question exams and pinpointed a few areas in which I was weak so I did some reading and then - back to the CD. For two MONTHS. Take every third day off from studying.
