Hello! Im looking for current PMHNP students at EKU for insider information. Im in the application process and cant seem to find enough information online to make an informed decision. The enrollment counselor stated they have a 98% pass rate, no I need more info. Please help!! Is this a good program, is the school supportive  especially in the online program. Thanks

Hello Everyone, I just got accepted into EKU's online PMHNP program for fall 2023. Is anyone who has started the program able to shed some insight on the program? Specifically how classes are scheduled? I read that some classes are synchronous while others are not. I plan to continue working FT and work from 0700-1730 M-Th. What time are live classes usually? Day or evening? Any other insight would be greatly appreciated!! ?

I just applied a couple days ago 6/7/2023. If I can ask how long did it take from the moment you submitted your application to hear back from them? How many years of experience did you have in general and in psych? What was your GPA? I'm nervous because my GPA is low from when I was 18 but my last 60 units it is 3.9 all nursing I'm literally at a 3.0. 

I'm also on the West Coast hopefully I get in would love to get in touch if I do to help each other out.

It took about 3 weeks to hear back. My GPA is a 3.9. I have 2 years of RN experience. 6 mo as a PHN, 6 mo psych, 1 year in corrections, a few months in acute care, and 1.5 yrs in pediatrics as a nurse extern before I graduated.  I tried a little bit of everything, especially when I was in school. I really wanted to make sure I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. ? Keep me posted. We could totally help each other out! Good luck to you!!

I dropped out of West Coast 4 months ago. I just applied to EKU Falll 2023. Fingers crossed!

@Nurseroxieo   Why did you drop out of West Coast? Were you in their PMHNP program?

I got my acceptance email today! It only took a couple days maybe a week.

Winston, how's EKU going?  Your post made it sound pretty definite that is the program you are going/went into.  If you see this please respond!  I'm choosing between EKU, possibly NKU (read a really bad review) Maryville, possibly Chamberlain.  Any input you share is so appreciated!
