Hey! It took me weeks to turn down Chaffey. I met the ELAC nursing program director at a general school event this weekend and she was really nice. I asked and she said the program does her best to be supportive. A 78% is the passing grade percentage (same as Chaffey, I think). She said most students who apply to the ELAC/CSULA concurrent enrollment program get in, so long as they have a 3.0 GPA. As of now, I'll be attending ELAC unless I get into PCC. If I get bad vibes from the orientation, I'll wait for PCC or for apply for LA County Spring though. Have you decided yet?

Same girl Im waiting for PCC to send out acceptance letters, but they won't until June 12 I think. Did you see they sent out a new email saying we will meet earlier for orientation at ELAC to ask the previous cohort questions about their experience? I also got accepted into another program and just sent out my withdrawal letter. ELAC makes more sense for me and is so close to home.

Haha yeah
still painfully waiting for PCC
I thought I would choose PCC but now I'm not sure what I'd choose if I got into both.

OK, well, hey girl, we exchanged numbers! I was hoping to receive an email this week for PCC but nothing yet. I think that if PCC's orientation doesn't completely blow me away, I am sticking with ELAC. Best of luck with making your decision.
Hey girl! are you at orientation today at ELAC?

There are two approved ways to create a special place for your cohort.
One: create a facebook page. This link may be posted.
Two: Premium members may create a "club" by clicking on the Breakroom link in the yellow bar to the left of this page. Then click on "Create A New Club" in the green bar at the top of the page, and follow instructions.
References to other than these two avenues will be moved from view, to comply with the Terms of Service.
Thank you.
