Hey I was checking all afternoon and nothing. Until just a minute ago, I thought I would check my email and they just sent me the email with all the files. I haven't had a chance to fill anything out yet but I will soon. What did you think of the info sesh?

nice. I thought it was a pretty standard info session haha, I been to a lot already so I felt like I knew what I was going to expect. wbu? and goodluck on applying.

Hi, I'm not from the area and I'm really unfamiliar with how this school works and what's been going on. I unfortunately had to miss the info session due to work. Do you mind sharing if they announced whether the info session was mandatory? Is the only way to get the documents to apply through the info session?

I'm not certain if it was mandatory, but for some reason the way it seems like it could be mandatory? so it was pretty confusing LOL. but I would e-mail them just in case, they're pretty good with getting back to you.

I don't remember them mentioning that the info session was mandatory. I would reach out to the nursing department at ELAC with all your questions and they usually reply within 1 or 2 business days. Good luck.

I really like how they're choosing to only pick students who have a 62% or higher in ALL TEAS areas. That helps those who have 62% or higher in all areas with a better chance to get in. I live practically next door to ELAC, so getting in would be nice. It's not my first choice and I am kind of nervous that their pass rate is only 70% compared to other schools. Good luck to you too! is ELAC your first choice?

Is the application open???

Yes it is, did you attend the info session yesterday?

Is it just me or can anyone still not find the application? I looked everywhere and it doesnt seem to be open for Fall 2023.

Did you attend the info session yesterday? They mentioned how to get access to the application.

No, I had to miss it because of work. I emailed them so I hope to hear back soon but this is just ridiculous. Why do they make the information so hard to access? IDK I feel like it's just not normal to not post their stuff on the nursing website like any other school

Yeah I also like that as well, considering they used to be on warning status, it makes lots of sense. but I heard they made lots of changes so im expecting them to be much better in the future too. not my first choice as well, but I wouldnt mind going there since it's a lot closer for me too!

I completely agree. Their website is misleading and it requires the students to pursue them. I was almost going to skip emailing them and was planning on waiting until their dates updated on their website but my gut told me to reach out. I'm glad I did before it was too late to apply. They should send you an application packet. My emailed application packet took almost 12 hours from when the info session ended to arrive.

Yeah, I read some of the transcripts from when ELAC was placed on warning status. It makes me worry that that is my only choice for nursing school. If the teachers really focus on the students using every resource they can. How many points do you have for ELAC? I have 62 points.

It's def worrying. But if they show that they are willing to improve and that we can also teach ourselves a little bit, we should be fine. And u have a great total! I have 51 right now. Their range of acceptance has been as low as the 50s so I'm hopeful. My science GPA is 3.6 with a 84% TEAS but my overall GPA is only 3.0 which is a bummer.
