Hi friends! Anyone applying this round for the CRNA program? I don't see any recent info but would love to get a thread going for those currently applying 😊

Anyone know when interviews are typically held / if they are in person or online?

Any insight on what the school prioritizes in its candidates / what to expect from the interview?

Anyone currently enrolled in this program & would you recommend it if so? Any advice for current applicants?

I think everyone feels that way when they interview. do you feel it was your clinical questions or EI responses you may not be happy with?

The whole state of it. Mind went blank on the clinical question, absolutely black whole. My other answers were I feel just lackluster. I prepared so many good answers and couldn't remember any of them.

I know that feeling.... I had that happen to me during an interview and it's the worst feeling. But don't beat yourself up about it honestly. You got the interviewed, they know we are all nervous!

Everyone feels that way after the interview. I know people that got the clinical question completely wrong and still got in. It's not about knowing the answer, its about being humble enough to ask for help.

I think they are still interviewing.

I'm not sure if this is the last week or if next week is or if even the week after. 

Exciting either way! I'm assuming you feel your interview went well ?

Do you guys feel like the panel was engaged during your interview or just asking the questions and not really paying attention then taking notes?

So I was the last person, 5 hours into interviews. Still I felt I had their undivided attention. I got some reactions, some stoic faces.

I definitely got mentally rocked by one male professors look. Seemed like he was scowling at me the entire time.

Same thing happened to me, I figured they are trying to see how you handle a stressful interview

For sure. I feel like they kinda had roles to play. Like the clinical guy upfront was stern in the beginning but after I feel like I got the clinical question right he seemed to loosen up some and joke some.
