East Carolina University College of Nursing (ECU) CRNA 2025

Published

Hi friends! Anyone applying this round for the CRNA program? I don't see any recent info but would love to get a thread going for those currently applying 😊

Anyone know when interviews are typically held / if they are in person or online?

Any insight on what the school prioritizes in its candidates / what to expect from the interview?

Anyone currently enrolled in this program & would you recommend it if so? Any advice for current applicants?

Thanks in advance & good luck to all!!

I will also be interviewing!! Does anyone have any good resources to prepare for the interview? I'm more worried about the clinical questions. I plan on reviewing my CCRN notes, but just don't know how in-depth the questions could be.

Has anyone interviewed before or at another school who can give some insight? Looking forward to meeting everyone!!

Good Luck, it's an amazing program.

Are you currently enrolled? I am so excited for the opportunity- glad to hear you speak highly of the program!!

Do you have any advice for the interview? Do they focus more on clinical questions or behavioral/emotional style questions? Also, is it a group or 1:1 style?

Recent graduate. Very good program, the interview is a big opportunity. If you get interviewed you definitely have an opportunity to get in. I feel like they throw the statistics out and the interview is where you sell yourself. It's a 1 vs about 14 on the interview committee. Very nerve racking but they are not trying trip you up. Heavy on the emotional intelligence, very light on clinical, they want to see if they can see if you would fit in the program... I won't get too deep in the question asked just due to fairness to everyone else

I got a rejection email last week. Really sucks. ECU was one that I was really looking forward to. It was one of my most hopeful applications.

Good luck to everyone else, and congratulations. ☺️

Does anyone know of how many days of interviews/applicants there are?

From what it sounds like, some people have their interview next week and some the week after.

In previous years, it was 9-12 interviews per day, twice a week for 3 or 4 weeks.
