Hi all!! Here is my situation. I graduated with my ADN in December, and passed my NCLEX in Feb and got my Ohio license. Then, we decided we wanted to move to FL. We have family down there, so we have a place to start. I have already got my FL license as well, through endorsement. I have applied for many, MANY, jobs; and I have gotten quite a few callbacks, but no interviews yet. A few places have asked if I can fly down for an interview but the timing hasn't worked out just yet. My question is this; do I move before I get a job so I can more readily take interviews, or wait till I get a job to move? My hesitation is that I have my family moving too, two little girls (1 & 3), my hubby, and my mom. My current plan is to get a job, then move in with my in-laws who live in FL. I then plan to spend about 2-4 weeks settling into my new job and finding an apartment. Then my daughters and mom will move down with me. My husband is planning to stay behind to finish house repairs and sell our house, then move down about 4-6 months later. I just don't know if I am being impatient by opting to just move now, hoping it will help me land a job faster, but risk being without my family for longer. Anyone been through this before that can send some advice my way will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks all!!
