Dutchess Boces LPN Program September 2010

U.S.A. New York

Anyone applying for admission to Dutchess BOCES LPN program this fall? I just took the TEAS and I am waiting for acceptance/rejection letter.

Even though I did not apply for the Dutchess Boces program, I just wanted to stop by & wish you the best of luck on your acceptance. I applied to the Southern Westchester Boces located in Elmsford. Just took the test today... and now I have to wait TWO weeks for my scores. It will feel like forever!

Hi! Sorry it took me so long to check my posts...I am new to Allnurses. This is really a great site for information.

I am going to call tomorrow to see if they have any information. Good luck to you! Let me know how you do and I will do the same. We can encourage each other throughout the year when we both get ACCEPTED!!!

I didn't realize that there are so many different entrance exams. Dutchess Community College doesn't even have an entrance exam. As i read everyones posts, it seems that they are the only college not to have one. Interesting...

I am in!!!! I was accepted to the full-time LPN program at Dutchess BOCES...so happy!!!!

Thats great!!! Congratulations! If I don't get into the SW Boces program, I will most definitely be applying to Dutchess for their January program. Do they test you on Math, English and Science? What score do you have to get in order to be considered for acceptance?

I was also looking into DCC but I heard students have to wait a year or more to get into clinicals! I don't have time to waste! You are very lucky because Dutchess Boces has an articulation agreement with DCC which enables you to complete your RN bridge program there. A lot of Boces programs don't have articulation agreements (not that I know of, anyway).

Congrats again!! That is very exciting!

How did it go LPNin2011? My first day is in 10 days!
