Duquesne University - ABSN - Fall 2021

Hey everyone! I could not find a forum for the ABSN program at Duquesne for Fall 2021, so I decided to go ahead and create one. I just got my acceptance letter this week, and am 99% sure this is the program I am going to commit to. Would love to talk to other candidates who are in the process of applying, already applied and waiting for a decision, or have been accepted already as well!

I'm also moving from California ? I visited Pittsburgh last weekend to look at a few neighborhoods/apartments and I settled on a place in downtown/the Cultural District about a 15-minute walk from campus. I chose downtown because it seems a bit more removed from the party/general undergrad scene of Oakland/Southside and closer to campus than Shadyside, but without being completely isolated or too far away from stuff (so basically what @roundribs said)

Hi all! My name is Christina and even though I was accepted to the 12 month program months ago I decided to wait til the very last minute to send in my deposit LOL. I was wondering if anyone was interested in creating a facebook group where we could all get to know each other and introduce ourselves? I know there is an official accepted students group, but it seems a bit more formal and more for questions about the program/ getting set up to begin. Anyway, excited to start and meet all of you!

Hey Christina, I'd be down for that! I won't know anyone in Pittsburgh and agree a less formal group might be nice. For sure post it here if you do make one ?

Hi! I don't know if anyone from this thread is still active, but I was recently accepted into this program for Fall 2022! I am wondering if anyone is willing to share their experience so far- how the program is going, pros/cons, etc..any info would be appreciated!
