Hey everybody, I recently just got the news that I was accepted into Duquesne's Second Degree Nursing program starting in the Fall 2015 semester! Was just curious to see if there was anyone else out there interested in reaching out to other accepted students!
Great! Hopefully there will be a few of us living there then! I applied in January and put my deposit down in February. I think I got an email within a couple days after I sent in my application. I went by the building on my way to a Pens game one night, but didn't get a great look. I liked the location though. Really close to campus and food, which is a plus. Can't wait for August move-in.

Hey everyone! I am entering the 2nd degree fall 2015 program as well! I did my undergrad at Duquesne too, so if anyone has any questions about the school or pittsburgh, let me know. I am living on campus- super excited, but nervous! Can't wait to meet you all!
hi!
I just applied to the second degree program about 2 weeks ago for the fall 2016 semester. How long did it
take until you heard back and how many people are usually accepted? I'm so anxious and nervous to hear back! I really hope I get accepted! Thank you 😃

Hi!
I am living in Penn Commons starting in the fall. It's really affordable and only about half a mile from Duquesne. You can get a room for as low as $325 a month, which is really good for being within walking distance. I just went for random roommates because I don't know anyone else in the program, but you can pick your roommate. I am trying to avoid having a car because of the cost for parking in the city.
Can't wait to meet you all in August!
