Duquesne Second Degree BSN - Class of 2017

Published

Hi everyone,

I'm happy to say I was recently accepted into Duquesne University's second degree BSN program beginning in August 2016. But I have been doing my research on reviews of this program and throughout this forum, and it seems that there are quite a few people with negative comments. I heard that the program has been changed and improved in the last year.

So I am curious - recent graduates of this program, honestly, what was your experience like? Would you recommend it? And if not, what didn't you like about it?

Thanks

also, do you get exams like every week? how often do you get an exam ?

Will you really recommend coming here?

any bad experience? are the professors helpful ?

@SPJ714 I am also accepted into the program! Have you decided whether you will be attending or not?

Hi all, I know this thread is a bit old but it is the newest on Duquesne's 2nd degree nursing that I found. I am planning to apply for class of 2019. How competitive is it to get in? I had a 3.85 in undergrad and a 3.96 in my graduate program. I currently work in mental health but want to get into the nursing side of things to be able to do more for people medically. I need 3 pre reqs and am registered to take those at community college this term. I just want to make sure it is worth it to do the prereqs - all 3! - while working full time. Do you think I have a decent shot of acceptance? Also, how id the program going for you?
