Hey! I just got my acceptance today.
How is it overall? What is the atmosphere like? Is the faculty helpful and supportive?
If you do not mind sharing, were you able to get adequate help with financial aid and scholarships? Just wondering because I will definitely need financial help!
And lastly, how were you able to go about accommodation? Is there a student housing option?

How did your yellow ribbon status work out? Did you have any issues getting the school paid tuition or getting your housing stipend every month? I am starting this fall and using yellow ribbon as well.

Atmosphere is nice, most people are friendly and lots of people go out for drinks together. I've had no problems with the faculty for the most part. Most professors will tell you what you should be focusing on for exams.
Can't speak for financial aid since I use the GI bill.
I know of one student who lives in campus housing, but most people live on the south side.

Haven't had any issues with it. You just email the va rep that you're registered for classes and send her your dd214 and then just email her every semester that you'll still be using your benefits.
Has anyone else been accepted and is definitely going?
Have yall found a place to stay?

Hi everyone. I’m going to be in this years cohort. Should I create a separate group on facebook so we can communicate freely among ourselves? People don’t seem to be communicating the other group. Also we can add people from the current cohort and they can sell things or give us tips on the program

Hi everyone! I’m deciding between two accelerated nursing programs: Duquesne or Drexel. I’m having a hard time getting conclusive answers online so I’m hoping someone can help me. Can anyone give insight on both programs? Pros and cons? Can you provide more information on HESI? (my biggest concern). What steps are taken when a student fails a course or HESI? How many students fail out of the program? How prepared do you feel to take the NCLEX? Any Insight would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance! ?
