Duke WHNP MSN Spring 2024

Published

I was trying to find a Duke MSN chat for Spring 2024 but only saw fall 2023. I just applied today and was wondering if anyone else did. I applied for WHNP :)

Anyone else get into the psych NP Program.?

Congratulations on your acceptance! Would you mind sharing your stats (GPA, background, etc.)? I'm applying to PMHNP programs for Spring 2024 and fall 2024. Looking into UPenn, Duke, Jefferson, La Salle, Vanderbilt, Yale, FDU.

2 years in ICU, 1 year in inpatient psych facility. 3.7 GPA. I did apply by the priority deadline.

I also applied to the AGPCNP program. Interviewed on 7/24 and anxiously awaiting a decision.

Hi! I applied before May, haven't been invited for interview, and my application still says submitted. I was wondering if I should consider myself rejected.

Hi @ssong  did you open your application? Mine says submitted but if I click on it and open it, there's a link to the decision. Maybe you just missed the emails, hopefully it's not going to your spam mail.

I still have a reference missing... I do currently work for Duke though and 2 of my references also work for Duke (former coworkers). Are you in the triangle? Or somewhere else?

I got an email today for an interview. I interview on 09/13.

That's great! I got an acceptance letter a week ago (about two weeks after the interview). Good luck! Let me know if you get in!

How do we access the email. It says I can't use my OneID anymore and need to use NetID but it sent the information to my Duke email, which I don't know how to setup. Plus that requires a NetID which I haven't setup either.

This is the email I got when I started at Duke so you can try this:

Step 1. Activate your NetID and Duke e-mail

Activate your NetID by calling the OIT Service Desk at (919) 684-2243. Since you'll need to set a password for your account shortly after you call, it's a good idea to review Duke's password guidelines now. After your NetID activation is complete, you can access your Duke email and calendar at https://mail.duke.edu.
