Duke WHNP MSN Spring 2024

Published

I was trying to find a Duke MSN chat for Spring 2024 but only saw fall 2023. I just applied today and was wondering if anyone else did. I applied for WHNP :)

yay I just requested to add myself to the fb group for whnp Spring 2024 ^ ? congrats everyone on admission!

Silly question. I applied on FAFSA and got a loan offer from the Office of Financial Aid at Duke. On it, the tuition for Spring2024 was stated as $18,675. I'm a little confused as full time is 6 credits and cost for credit is $2075. Am I missing something? Can anyone shed light on this as this is the first time I am taking out an educational loan. Thanks ? ??

Anyone know the next steps??? Like after securing your seat and sending official transcripts when do we hear back for more info??

I know we have orientation on 1/8/2024. I signed up for FASFA yesterday, I recommend doing that when you have some free time, it took a little while. I would imagine as it gets closer to the end of the year we'll sign up for classes and get more info

Hi! I just applied for this too... not priority and didn't get an app in until the end of July. Have you interviewed or heard a timeline on anything?

I have not heard anything back, I also got mine submitted by end of July. I know we are basically at the mercy of seat availability based on which program you applied to, but I expect we would hear back relatively soon.

I had an interview on Thursday. It was really informal and very different than what I expected. If you hear anything let me know! I did email the program coordinator and asked for a timeline so if I hear back from her on Monday I'll post again. I know someone who applied priority and just found out they got in a couple of weeks ago. Hoping the timeline for non-priority is a little quicker.

Then you are a step ahead of me for now. My last recommendation came in a little late, sometime in August, because the professor was out of the country for something scholarly related in her home country. But everything was else was submitted and once she sent that, it was complete.

I still have a reference missing... I do currently work for Duke though and 2 of my references also work for Duke (former coworkers). Are you in the triangle? Or somewhere else?
