Can anyone direct me to the threads discussing possibly releasing decisions mid-march? Has anyone come across cohorts where anything was sent out not on a Friday?

Never mind! I came across the thread for the Fall 2016 and decisions were released on March 14th which was a Monday actually. I know those who have spoken with admissions however still say Duke Days would be the first thing to come out. I know we are all dissecting every little thing but this wait is causing so much anxiety!

With everyday that passes I'm leaning more towards commiting to Emory haha wouldn't be surprised if they are losing prospective students with this wait!

PickMePlease - glad you found the Fall 2016 thread. I also found that thread after one of the posters in this thread indicated that Duke has, in the past, simply released decisions mid-March when invitations to Duke Days did not go out the first week in March. I also looked up 3/14/16 to see which day of the week it fell on! I think the first post that day indicating that decisions had come out was around 10:00 a.m. ... so guess what I will be doing this Monday at 10:00 a.m.! Dissecting every little thing gives us something to do while we anxiously wait!

Well, it's snowing in and around the Duke area....so I doubt that we will hear anything today

Yes, I live near Durham and we are getting a lot of ice from the winter storm. Supposed to progress through the evening and into tonight as well, so not sure if they'll be able to reopen tomorrow either.

I checked Duke's two websites where they post closure information for severe weather and it looks like they are/were open today. I tried to include/share a link in my last post, but it was flagged for review.

The website is called DukeToday. Click the "campus" tab and scroll down to the middle of the page. They posted an update at 12:30 indicating they were not anticipating activating severe weather and emergency conditions.

With that said, because it is already so late in the day, I don't think we're going to hear anything today.

I spoke with Benjamin from the admissions office and he said that the Duke Days invitations won't be sent out until late March. So we probably won't hear anything until next week at the earliest. I'm pretty much dying with anticipation!
