Since a thread hasn't been started for Duke Feb 2015 Residency Applicants, I have decided to start one. Feel free to post away and best wishes!!

I also applied to the program last week. Fingers crossed we all see status changes this upcoming week or next :)

Has anyone tried chatting to the live nurse recruiters on their website? I did a on tuesday and she said that it would be a day or two...

I haven't! That's interesting though. Did they mean a status change within the next few days or being contacted for an interview I wonder? Any updates for anybody today?

I applied for cardiac intermediate and surgical care!

also I just live chatted a nurse recruiter earlier and they were really vague to me....said the process can take anywhere from weeks to months and they're already in the process of screening/interviewing new grads! Soooooooo I'm not really sure what to think haha! Patience patience patience!

I'm not sure how much light this sheds on the situation, but I applied to a new grad position about a month and a half ago and got an email to interview about 3 days after the application period closed. I did interview for the position but it was not for my dream job and I didn't get the job (my heart wasn't really in it I think).

So that being said, it can be a quick process but who knows if that situation was the standard.
