I decided to start a thread for the Duke University Hospital residency program.
I'm also looking for some advice as well. I'm not 100% sure of the application process, (maybe I'm thinking about other program I've applied to) but I remember being able select our 1st and 2nd choice. I'm pretty sure if this is the case that I selected pediatrics.
Well I just received an email form Duke to interview for the Clinical Transport Team. I'm thrilled to have gotten an interview, but does this mean my application was never forwarded to my choices?
I had an interview with the CCU and did not get the job. I have 3 interviews: OR at Duke Uni, OR at Duke Regional, and Psych at Duke Regional. Can anyone tell me what job shadowing is like? Is anyone else going in for these 3 positions?

Congrat!! When did you have an interview in the neuro ICU @ Duke? I had it on last Oct 13. I was told by HR that the outcome probably comes out by next week. I am glad that you know very soon. Hope to hear a good news like you. Please keep in touch.

I receive an offer for the position yesterday!! Thank you for all of the positive thoughts. Now I have to find a place to stay..... Any advice... Buy, rent, areas, school (for kids)????
My husbands bday is nov 17th :) I will most likely be starting on dec 15th so that I have a little more time to get everything situated. I have 3 little ones that will be finishing the school year here. I am also originally from California, where about Aphanrn?
for those that got an interview/offer, looking for a little insight on the timeline between when you applied/when you received notice that you would be interviewing. i applied for the 2015 jan/feb residency start date a few weekends ago on 10/11 before the application closed on 10/17, and i haven't heard anything...no status change, no emails! however, i know some people (and clearly read on this thread) that some of you interviewed right around when i applied! anybody have any insight or inside info on this? i'm wondering if they've stopped considering as it's been almost two weeks and i have no status change? perhaps i applied too late? anybody in the same boat?
