Hello everyone! The topic is for those, who submitted their applications to Duke MSN Program Fall 2018.

I am current Duke MSN-DNP applicant for Fall 2018. I would like other Duke applicants to joint this discussion and share their strong points in their applications, and, of course, cheer up each other in this time consuming process.

The merit scholarship awards 6 students throughout the DISON right? Ugh I'm kicking myself fo not doing it, but I will be a 100%GI bill recepient and almost felt greedy applying for it...that mixed with some post vacation lazziness. I hope you all get it!! I've gotten into UVA, UMD, and Vandy. The decison is so hard! Anyone else have other acceptances? It's hard to turn away from a full ride for DNP plus living expenses payed by VA for UVA and UMD... but Duke has always been a dream... plus the ability to live anywhere is appealing. Vandy is 90,000, but you are done with FNP/MSN in 1 year! Which sounds insanely hard and potentially not favorable with employers... any thoughts??

I actually asked in my interview how many merit scholarships would be awarded. The answer is the number of people that will receive it is a moving target. So no exact number depends on a lot of factors.

Hi everyone!

I have applied to the Fall 2018 term full time FNP program at Duke. Duke is my #1 choice so I am eagerly awaiting decision time! Does anyone know when the decisions will roughly be made? I don't remember a date ever being given to me to expect it by

Does anyone know if they notify us via email or in the actual mail? I keep checking the portal but it just shows my applicaiton so I'm not even sure if that's the way to check.

From what I have seen in past threads it will come up in our portal. There should be an admissions decisions tab or something of that nature

I don't know exactly when but I've heard them say "a few weeks after your interview" and I've also heard "mid-March." I just know that we have to know before the 30th because that's the "Experience DUSON" day! I hope it's sooner rather than later. It's my number one choice too!

Just looked at their academic calendar and their spring break starts Friday the 9th. Maybe they'll send something out before then. Wishful thinking í ½í¸œ

When I'm at work I am nice and distracted. When I have a day off I refresh the portal all day long... waiting is hard!!
