Hi! Wondering if anyone else applied to Duke's online MSN program? I applied for the AGNP track. Thought we could go through the gruesome wait process together :)
Hey! I'm looking to apply to duke's PNP-AC program for fall 2017. I saw you got into the program and that you had an interview. Do you mind answering a few questions? I just am wondering if I'm a good candidate for the program.
I interviewed for this specialty this past spring. Very general, like for a job interview. "What are your goals?", "how to you plan to survive the busy grad school curriculum", "tell me about a time that you had to deal with a difficult personality at work", "what are your strengths/weaknesses.", etc.
The question that surprised me most was "tell me what that difficult person would say is your biggest weakness/strength."
No I am not. I am doing the orientation online. I am a little confuse though. Maybe it is just me. Because I was accepted later into the program, I had to register for classes that instructors were TBA and waitlisted for those classes. I am a little nervous because it is August and I still don't have any information about who my instructors are and what textbooks I need. I emailed my advisor, but she couldn't help me. She asked me to email other instructors who maybe teaching those classes to see if they can give me some information. Are you having this problem?

They really just asked very general questions in the FNP interview, for example why do I want to be an FNP, what is an FNP, where do I see myself in ten years, etc.
