Duke MSN Fall 2016

Hi! Wondering if anyone else applied to Duke's online MSN program? I applied for the AGNP track. Thought we could go through the gruesome wait process together :)

I did apply for the FNP program. I'm sitting on pins and needles until the results are out.

Hi all,

I have just read this thread and thought I'd chime in. I recently applied to Duke's AGNP (a little late to the party, but apparently applications are still being accepted so perhaps there is still room for one more at the table???). I JUST got the email regarding the "information about your application," so IF they are still considering applicants for Fall 2016, then maybe I will know something in the next few weeks. I really hope you all get your decisions soon!

When you guys say AGNP, which program are you referring to? There are two - AGNP Acute Care and AGNP Primary.

I applied to the AGNP-Primary Care. I SERIOUSLY considered the AGNP-Acute Care, since I am an ED nurse, but have decided that I want to calm things down a little in my old age. :)

That kind of sucks that they are still adding people after the original deadline though o.O

Hopefully that just means they have open spots, since AGNP isn't as competitive as FNP to get into. I think most apply to FNP. Even when I was submitting my application back in Nov, they still had open spots in the AGNP for Spring 2016, but I chose to apply to Fall instead.

I think they leave the application process open after the deadline if they haven't filled all of the slots. I know Vanderbilt does the same thing. They all technically do NOT have rolling enrollment, but WILL continue to accept applications if space permits. Of course, if you apply after the deadline, you do not get priority consideration for scholarships and such.

My SISS has a new tab that says, "Decision Not Ready." Does anyone else have that? I'm trying not to freak out...tomorrow is so close!! :)

Mine has "View Decision"... But it doesn't link to anything. I also have another one that says "Respond to Offer"... which when I click it is says
