Mine still says ready for review ?

Does anyone know why my application status would be changed to "hold"?

Hey guys! I applied for the Fall 2021 FNP program. My status has said "under faculty review" for a while now. Hoping something changes soon. I'm with you all, the wait is tough!

My application also says under faculty review. I had emailed admissions back in early December and they said invitations for interviews would go out at the end of January for interviews at the end of February and decisions would go out sometime in March. I applied for the FNP program with a certificate in Endocrinology.

Actually I just reread the email and I was wrong about the end of January.

here’s the email:

“Thank you for reaching out to us this week with your questions. Your application is currently in my working queue (Ready for Review) as the next step in the review process. Faculty will be reviewing applicant packets through the holidays and anticipate inviting students to interview in the latter weeks of February 2021. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom in March with admissions decisions posting to your applicant self-service portal.”

I received the following email today:

”I wanted to reach out to you directly with a brief update on your application status. At this point in time your application is under consideration for a potential interview invitation. We anticipate sending out interview invitations in late February via email. Interviews will be hosted through the online meeting platform, Zoom. It is important to make sure you have access to a device with a working camera and microphone to participate in the interview. Further instructions on how to test your device will be included in the interview invitation if you are selected for an interview.

Our goal is to have admissions decisions available to your Applicant Self-Service Portal by mid-April. We look forward to working with you in the coming weeks!”

I received the same email! Trying not to get too excited since it says potential interview but hearing something from Duke is making up for being stuck at work during a nor’easter.

I, too, received the same email.  It’s so gut-wrenching.  “We might, maybe, possibly interview you.  Wait another month to hear about that potential interview. C’ya!”
