Duke Fall MSN 2021

When did you submit? Wondering how long until it is under review, and when we might hear decisions?

From reading threads of previous intakes, it seems that decisions go out early April. Interviews are usually scheduled February through march form what I have gathered so far. 

I am a current employee at Duke. As an employee we get the option for early decision. My application was due by early November to qualify for the early decision. I interviewed for the ACNP program the Monday after Thanksgiving. I found out on 12/18 that I have been admitted to the program. I applied for non-early decision Fall 2020 and was denied. Decisions for the non decisions was around the last week of March and the first week of April. Good luck to everyone, and will be happy to answer any questions since I have been through the process. 

@Jga2003 congratulations on your admission. I don’t have the luxury of early decision so I’m just waiting. I’m not going to lie, the waiting is painful though. I hope we get to be classmates.

Hi Im starting the AGNP program at Duke this week (Spring '21), I know this thread was for Fall start. But Im hoping to connect to with you and anyone else in the program.

 I was told I likely won't meet anyone in my cohort even virtually until the OCI's and really want to make some online connections? Im shocked there isn't atleast a facebook group or a zoom meet and greet for my cohort. Anyone else out there going to Duke for any of the NP tracks? Please reach out :)

My application still says 'ready for review'; I know I'm being impatient but this wait seems like forever!

@VAorthoRN I know! It’s impossible to be patient, even though you know the timeline. I hope everything works out for you.

I have been accepted into the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Duke for Fall 2021. I was part of the early decision pool. I had an interview over zoom and was provided a decision about two weeks afterwards. The waiting game can be stressful, but well worth it.

I am still under Faculty Review too. The wait is hard!
