DUKE DNP/MSN Spring 2018

I was just wondering if anyone has applied to Duke for one of their graduate programs for Spring of 2018? I chose to go the BSN-DNP w/ FNP track route. Now I am patiently waiting for applications to close and interviews to go out. I would love to connect with other students who are applying! Also I would love to hear feedback from any current or past students. Thanks!

I didn't get any email, either. I only applied for the MSN program, though.

I know! I looked at my email again and it said interviews in July so I was hoping we would hear something so we can plan!!

Did you ever receive an email about interview time period?

Ok... so I called just now and the lady told me that they are hoping to have interview decisions out by the end of the month and we will be notified via email. So it looks like we have a couple of more weeks to wait!

I emailed Duke today to ask about interview timeline for planning with my job. She said the committee met yesterday about interviews and would like to have them completed by mid-July. She thinks we should be hearing something VERY SOON if we are invited to interview. She also said she thought all interviews would be done via phone or web. My application status still just says complete.

Has anyone else heard anything? Good luck to all!

I'm till just complete also! However I must say I am surprised they're not going to be doing in person interviews! I wonder why?

I was confused by that too. Maybe a skype interview is easier? Or maybe she was incorrect? They may interview FNP students since there would be more time in campus and a longer program than just the DNP portion. Either way, I sure hope I get one!

Maybe we are the only two applying! Lol. Great odds!

I actually read on this board in a past class that sometimes they have more spots than applicants and everyone gets accepted, thats my hope for this term haha.
