Duke AGNP Spring 2017

Hello everyone! Has anyone else applied to the AGNP program at Duke for the Spring 2017? I think I am more nervous applying to grad school than I was when I sat for my NCLEX!

I am so excited too, I registered yesterday..yikes and I feel like I better enjoy my last few weeks of freedom! I am buying my plane ticket today to be there for orientation! Well Duke here we come

Hello! I applied late to the Duke FNP for spring semester 2017 and learned this week I was admitted, but I haven't officially accepted or paid the deposit. Can any of you tell me the on-campus dates for N595 Physical Assessment for spring 2017? Also, can anyone tell me about orientation - on-line, on-campus? Thanks for any information.

Congratulations! If you look at the Matriculation Plan its generic, there are no dates set for next fall yet. I'm sure as the time gets closer they will let us know. You also might want to call the nursing department maybe the can give you more info. The orientation is Monday January 9. I am an online student but I wanted to go out to Duke so I will be flying out a few days before to look around. Good luck on your decision, I hope you decide to come to Duke. I am starting the FNP program with an Oncology specialty.

Well I ended up finally getting here to Durham yesterday afternoon...only to check my Duke email today and see orientation on Monday is canceled. I am soo disappointed I am literally stuck in a hotel down the street from Duke until Tuesday. Did you get to stop your travel plans in time? I am so worried about starting this week. I still have sooo many questions. I hope you ended up canceling your plans in time. Hopefully we can meet soon, it would be nice to compare notes etc throughout the program. All the best, Rebecca
