Hello there! Just wanted to see if there was anyone that had applied to Molloy College's Dual Degree program for the fall 2017 and what their current status is? I have applied, submitted my transcripts, and took both placement tests last week.
Hi guys.. was wondering how people are able to log in to their portal and see their admissions status.. I'm trying to log in with the username and password I submitted my application with but it is saying my information is invalid. Apparently you can only log in with a Molloy student username or alumni username? I'm not a registered student yet so I don't know how to retrieve my application or admissions status
Your Molloy ID is on the top right corner of any of the letters they've sent out to you. Should be like six digits. Then you go put that ID in and click forget password. It'll send you an email to the email address you submitted your application with a new password. Once you're in find admission status and it tells you where you are at in the stages.
@Gubba The math test is ALOT like the review sheet they gave you. Make sure you know how to do each of those problems like the back of your hand because you're only allowed to have two wrong to pass or else you have to take a remedial math. They give you an hour for the math, I used the entire time and did each problem like three times to make sure I got the right answers. It's 20 questions. The english part was a whole different story, it's two sections. First section is 100 questions and you get 15 minutes. Second section is I believe like 36 questions in 20 minutes. I felt like it was more of a race than anything else to finish as many questions as you can. I ended up missing the cut by .2 of a point so I have to re-take English 101 :/
Sorry to be so nosey but does taking eng 101 put you back a semester and make it a 2 and a half yr program? And is it a three credit class you have to pay full price for?
im looking at practice stuff and the English looks harder then I thought, I'm thinking I may end up in the same boat (if accepted.)
Hey @gubba I believe it does put me back a semester but I'm trying to see if there is any way I can speed up the process. My appt to come in and speak to them is in may so we'll see. And @Nurse52392 I'm pretty sure it's a rolling admission, I think they don't have a specific deadline they just accept until the seats are full. And my pre-req gpa is about 3.8 but my reg bachelor gpa is 3.3.

Yup it is expensive! Starting salary I believe is around 85-90k right now at NYP, Northwell, etc. so even after taxes you can pay off all of Molloy in one year. From what I've read on here and on Reddit, Molloy is a great school. I was thinking of waiting another year to apply to Stonybrook again but the $$ actually evens out if I start Molloy and graduate a year earlier. What was your other bachelors in? Mine was finance.
