hey all I am a new grad and was wondering if anone has worked for driscoll chikdrens hosp in corpus christi texas,if so new grad pay and lengh of orientation thanks:redpinkhe:jester:

Hey!!!

I worked at Driscoll's Children's Hospital in 1985. I was a nursing assistant while going to nursing school.

So I won't be much help as far as orientation goes, but I can tell you that I loved working there. I did the 3 - 11 shift. It was great. Lots of team action. Babies and kids were so adorabe, I became easily attched.

I also recieved a scholarship from them while in nursing school.

Glad to hear that you are thinking of Corpus - but you should be aware that salaries in that area of the state are lower than most other areas. I would recommend that you get specific salary information from their nurse recruiter.

Hi I actually know about the lowwwwwwwwwww wages in CC!!!!! My first job was $3.45 an hour in 1982! Yikes!

The original OP was looking for feedback on Driscoll Children's hospital and I have some very fond memories of my work done there soooooooooo long ago!:nurse:
