I am suppose to go to drill in January... I have not been to OBC yet. Will they have someone that walks me through everything? I am nervous about all this. Thanks for any insight into this.

Does anyone know if you are an ASN nurse in the reserves and want to continue your eduacation toward BSN. Can you prevent from being deployed until you finish your schooling. I read somewhere in the post but forgot what it is called.TNXDave

If you are using the STRAP program you will not be deployed otherwise you are fair game. I had to stop my education for my BSN once for deployment and could happen again. If you plan on staying in the reserves and not going active after you get your BSN, STRAP is the way to go.
