Hey, guys its a bit early but wanted to open a chat so we could all talk about the Fall 2021 ACE program (11 months) at Drexel University! Feel free to share stats, questions, concerns, and more!

Definitely had trouble sleeping last night thinking about all that debt weighing over me..
I’m shared a similar situation didn’t received a generous federal loan. But Drexel tuition and living expenses is cheaper compared to the other four nursing program I got accepted in NYC.
im also in the same situation with private loans as my family can’t help me out and I am only able to save enough money for living expenses. As someone else mentioned the cost of the program as well as rent in philly is much cheaper than schools I looked at in NYC or Boston. Also, many many people have student debt and large debt at that. If you make your monthly payments on time and then some when you are financially able to make bigger payments, your student loan debt does not own you.

I decided to defer Spring Semester to save more funds for living expenses. There are several options to repay federal students loans. But not sure about repayment options for private loans.
Hi!
Whew I am late to this thread haha but I was admitted back in November! Waiting to put down deposit, but think I will need to since I won't hear back from my other top school until March. Does anyone know if the 60 day deadline is strict? I don't want to lose my spot as Drexel is one of my top choices; only reason I would go to other school is because of in state tuition which is hard to pass up.
Anyways I am really excited and would love to get to know people for Fall 2021! Anyone else coming straight out of undergrad?

I would say your best bet is to email them to ask about a deadline extension. I know from previous threads about other programs that many programs do give deadline extensions if asked but not sure about Drexel specifically.
I am coming straight out of undergrad! Graduating in May of 2021. Debating between which program I want to go to, Jefferson or Drexel. Still waiting to hear back from UPenn.

I know its super early, but is anyone getting their information into Drexel yet such as bloodwork/titers/immunizations etc?
What happens after you submit your deposit? Are things do right away? When do we have to submit health information like vaccines, drug test, and etc?
