Hey just wondering how many people have applied or were planning on applying to the first intake of the newly structured psych nursing program at Douglas for fall 2017?

Thank you i am so excited that i heard back so quickly! I got an email this morning at 9:21 saying they were pleased to advise me of a seat offer for the program and listing all the requirements (crc, seat deposit and medical/immunizations forms) i needed to get in by the deadline on my application for (it was updated to show conditional acceptance) it all. I did my criminal record check as soon as i got the email and i paid the seat deposit today as well and i go see my dr on wednesday to fill out all the forms!

I got accepted too! just got the email today. I just did the criminal record check and it never asked for payment? did yours? I thought it was supposed to be 28$... but when I got to the end of it it never asked for payment just said that it went through and there was a confirmation page for me to print

Congratulations! It will be nice to know someone in the program :). Yes i had to pay $28 before I got the confirmation page.

Hang on to the confirmation page and maybe contact your admissions adviser to give them a heads up and maybe they can help you sort it out!

I have gotten everything in and they just need to review my medical/immunizations forms! Have you put everything in for the conditional requirements yet?

I did the deposit and the criminal record check, I went to my doctor and got the medical form but she didn't have "proof" of my immunizations so she sent me for all the serology possible, but she said not all of them have serology...

So I'm just waiting for those results

What did you use for proof?

I had serology done back in November my Dr printed off a copy for me. I also had to go to the public health authority to get a copy of my records. I was born on the island and the records there are all kept in a data base so they were able to print them off for me right away. If it was fraser health you would have to fill out a request for an archive pull.
