Can anyone please enlighten me on places to find employment where I may not encounter staff or management who are backstabbing bloodsucking people? I've primarily done LTC along with some Med-Surg background. I know it sounds petty, but it seems that every place I have ever been employed with has professional ethics issues both on the general staff and management levels. At first I did some self-analyzing, thinking it was all me (bad luck, bad attitude or something) but then I realized I didn't have a problem with any of these people but they took it upon themselves to create a problem which involved me without my knowledge. I work my ass off to help my patients, do my job well and help other staff with their work if they need it only to be betrayed and treated like crap. Input? Sorry, just needed to vent...

Have you tried John Peter Smith Hospital?
My brother-in-law received top-notch care there. He was in their ICU/trauma area..then received rehab there. (He was in a motorcycle/car accident & lost his right leg) Their nurses were very professional & courteous. (you know how nurse-family members are always full of questions to the nurses taking care of your loved one)

We lived in the Austin area...and things were very much the same as what you're experiencing in your area. Been there. Your post is something I've said/felt before.:icon_hug:
I hope it gets better for you.:icon_hug:
