Don't like the robo-calls

I thought I wanted to go to WGU for my MSN but I keep getting robo-calls constantly. It seems like the first half of the message is personalized to me but then the second half with phone numbers seems pre-recorded. Very strange. Anyway, I am getting annoyed and almost don't want to go to this school for this reason.

WGU is a non-profit school, so when they call me, I know it's not for nefarious reasons like those overpriced for-profit institutions. I got a business degree through WGU, and now I'm hoping to get into their nursing program. I don't regret going to this school in the least bit. The WGU model is actually the only way I can learn and follow through with a degree. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Very strange. I have never gotten a robo call from them ever. You're totally sure it's them?? Kaplan sometimes robo calls me multiple times per day.

I never got a robo call ... And I took many months before coming to a decision on where to go.

Yes and my enrollment person admitted they were automated calls and apologized.

I have never gotten a robo call from WGU. I have only ever been contacted personally by either my enrollment counselor or my mentor. Those calls were at specific predetermined times.

Whats strange is this school, or at least my "enrollment counselor". I have been accepted into other grad schools (one ivy league). I have been an allnurses member for 7 years. I'm neither making these things up, nor badmouthing this school.

schnookimz - maybe you work for this school, or were my enrollment counselor and have nothing better to do?

It is very concerning because I have gone to WGU for my BSN and am about to finish my MSN and I have not ever gotten a robocall from them.
