Finished the nclex rn with 100 or 101 questions dont really remember. I did the PVT gave me the good pop up. I feel that this is a good sign. and still waiting to do the quick result. i wanna share my experience to all those future nurses.
It was my 3rd take in NJ (last take before im required to take refresher course which i dont want.) i was so pressured by this. Im working as a PCA at nights. So i made the most out of it, i study even at work even if im hella sleepy and tired.
My first take was beyond horrible, i really dont know where i got my knowledge. My 2nd take i studied using kaplan but did not fully utilized Saunders.
My 3rd take, I finished cover-cover Saunders yellow book. and focused on Cardio, Renal, Maternal (im a guy so im really weak at this). and just used Kaplan for QTs, diagnostic test, Readiness and qbank
All my qbank i got 60+ to 70s
my Diagnostic, QT1-7 and readiness 60%+
for me what really worked for me is reading the saunders book. At work, before i wake up, before i sleep. even im done reading, i would read at it again.
Thanks to allnurses and all its contributors for all the advice. I can't wait to do the quick result.
