Dominican University CA Fall 2022 Application Cycle

This thread is for anybody who is submitting their Application to Dominican University of California’s Fall 2022 Nursing Program by the March 1st deadline.

Hmm, I don't think so? You have to be enrolled in order to accept it. But if you do apply again in Spring, you might receive the same scholarship again since not much would have changed (financially, etc.) since the last application! So your 6 months of renewal would start from that Spring sem (assuming you get accepted in the Spring). But I'd ask (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) to be sure.

I will apply again for Spring! I feel like we get a better chance of getting in for Spring than Fall since there are so many first-year applications and private school LOVES first-years than transfer students because they get more money from them. So we all should reapply! ?

Do you guys know when Spring applications open for Dominican? 
Congrats to those who got accepted and for those who didn’t, it isn’t the end! I am honestly bummed as well, I’m trying my best not to feel defeated right now. As long as we stay determined and keep applying we’ll all get accepted into schools! I honestly really like this school and was debating on whether I’d have better chances taking the scholarship and being a student this semester and applying again in Spring… let me know what you guys think!

Hi! Anyone else get priority waitlist? Considering there were only 15 spots open for transfers I’m pretty ecstatic! Really hoping the anticipated spots open up, but I’m incredibly hopeful. Good luck to all of you on your student nurse journey ❤️? We’ll all be saving lives one day:)

OK, I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and asked if I can accept the undeclared and then reapply for Spring. I guess we can't.

We had such good stats too, but I guess it was just so competitive this time around.
