Dominican College - ABSN Weekend Program

Has anyone gone through the Dominican College weekend program? I'm hoping for acceptance to the 2010-2012 program. I'm taking the final prereqs now. I'm just looking for info on how the program was. Whether you worked full time/part time/at all? Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

just curious..did you do the biochemistry class as yet, If so where did you take it? I am also interested in that program.

I took Organic Chemistry at BMCC and Dominican took those credits as Biochemistry.

Sorry i just have one more question i hope u dont mind me asking. Did you receive a letter from the school saying your are admitted to the school and not the program itself and that your file will be forwarded to the program director a week later and then she will contact you? How does their process work.

No problem. I've received a few letters from the school. The first one said I was accepted to the school and that my file was being forwarded to the weekend coordinator. I received a letter regarding my transfer credits and I received one from the coordinator directly. She listed what prereqs I had left, reminded me that I have to forward my transcripts as I take the classes, and that acceptance to the WABSN program will be mailed in the spring directly from the nursing school. I have just one prereq left after this semester, which I am taking in the spring (patho) online through the SUNY system. I hope you don't mind me asking...when do you plan to attend the weekend program?
