Domican College Graduate?
You might be able to. I've heard the day and weekend program are very similar. Both are very intense. But I'm also looking for feedback on the school, the teachers, the administration, the hospitals where you did clinicals. Anything really to learn more about the school. Thanks!

Domican College Graduate?
Trying one more time... I'm looking for any information/feedback on Dominican College. In particular the weekend program. i.e. How hellish was the time commitment? Did you work while attending? Did you have a life? Are they accepting of people having children while in the program? Really, any info about your experience there would be appreciated. Thanks!

Dominican College - ABSN Weekend Program
No problem. I've received a few letters from the school. The first one said I was accepted to the school and that my file was being forwarded to the weekend coordinator. I received a letter regarding my transfer credits and I received one from the coordinator directly. She listed what prereqs I had left, reminded me that I have to forward my transcripts as I take the classes, and that acceptance to the WABSN program will be mailed in the spring directly from the nursing school. I have just one prereq left after this semester, which I am taking in the spring (patho) online through the SUNY system. I hope you don't mind me asking...when do you plan to attend the weekend program?

Dominican College - ABSN Weekend Program
Has anyone gone through the Dominican College weekend program? I'm hoping for acceptance to the 2010-2012 program. I'm taking the final prereqs now. I'm just looking for info on how the program was. Whether you worked full time/part time/at all? Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

SUNY Downstate's Accelerated Nursing Program
Thanks for the replies. I'm actually trying to decide whether to have kids before going back to school. I was thinking that it would be easier than working full time but it's starting to sound like it might actually be harder!

SUNY Downstate's Accelerated Nursing Program
I'm trying to find information on the actual time commitment involved in Downstate's accelerated program. I know what the credit allotment is but I wanted to know how much time a student will typically spend in class/clinicals. Is it a few hours every day, or more like a full time job of 9-5? Are some days longer than others? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
