Hello everybody!
I recently applied to Dominican College WABSN 2020 and would like to meet current applicants, current or former students. The weekend program is very convenient for working adults, that is the main reason why I chose it. However, there are no reviews about this program, I would like to read about others experience and thoughts about the school/nursing program in general.
Everybody is welcome to this post, let's share our experience through this process.
Thanks!

I haven't gotten anything in the mail.

Yes please do! I actually asked Dr. DeSimone if she would mind sending a link to the group out after it was made to all the students who have accepted their seat, but she said she would not be able to. But no worries, we can get everyone who's not on all allnurses joined at orientation. I also think a class groupme or other group texting thing would be super helpful, but thats for later!

Hi Everyone!!!
I applied to the ABSN Weekday option back in August. Had all my transcripts in. Completed the writing placement and registered for any prerequisites needed. I've been waiting to hear back ( since it was indicated that we'd hear back in the Fall) but no luck! I emailed the director and basically she said that they are filled to capacity for the May 2020-2021 nursing program. However, if there are any openings, they would contact me by May 1st. I'm also very upset and frustrated as well. So for those who haven't received a letter, this could be why.
