I saw this after surfing the net. Press release 01/12/2011
The Department of Health (DoH) today announced that applications can be filed starting next week, January 17, for its project where unemployed nurses will be deployed to poor communities in the country.
"the project, billed RN heals, seeks to make essential health services available to all Filipinos by training and deploying 10,000 unemployed nurses in communities to be identified by the DoH in collaboration with the department of social welfare & development (DSWD),"
Health secretary Enrique Ona said.
Rn Heals, an acronym for registered nurses for health enhancement and local service, is expected to address the shortage of skilled and experienced nurses in 1,221 rural and unserved or underserved communities for one year.
"eventually, these nurses will be part of the pool of competent nurses for later employment or absorption in health facilities, thus addressing the inadequate supply of skilled nurses and increasing the nurses' employment rate," the health chief concluded.
Hi guys!
I just received an email from RNHEALS and it stated that I'm scheduled for an interview on Feb 1 along with 25 other applicants. It also states that I need to bring the ffng requirements: NBI, medical cert, photocopy of license.
Now here's my problem: what government hospital here in manila should I come in order for me to obtain that medical certificate with the remark that I am fit to work? I already tried going to San Lazaro, Jose Reyes, PGH, and Ospital ng Maynila but to no avail.
What should I do about this? Can you recommend me any government hospitals for this? This would be a lot easier if they will accept certificates from private hospitals and/or private physicians....

When you registered, did you use a provincial address? or just your address in manila? Do you have prior nursing related experience? THanks..

Help! That's also my problem, where can i obtain medical certificate issued by govt. hospital/Doctor? Anyone? My interview schedule will be on Feb 1.
Good Day
I have received an email from DOLE last January 27 (Thursday) saying that I'll be having my interview on Feb 1 (Tuesday) and that I'll be needing my resume, medical certificate from public doctors/hospital telling that I am fit to work and a photocopy of my PRC license.
Anyway, I registered Jan 17 at 12am .During my registration, I put my provincial address since it was the one asking but my preferred area is here in Manila were we resided for almost 5 years. I will take my medical certificate at San Juan Medical Center on the 31st (Monday) after the result of my xray ,cbc, urinalysis and fecalysis . They got my sample a day after I received the email, so that was Friday.
I hope I'll be able to help . . Thanks guys

For those who registered earlier, like January 17.. have you received text or email of your scheduled interview?
I registered around 12 noon of January 17 but still haven't got any advice from them, but I checked my application status and it says it on the process of evaluation. I hope they're updating their website really..
