Does nursing school go by fast?

I have 2 little girls (4 and 2) so Im nervous about how much they'll have to be in daycare and how it will affect them. But hey its only 2 years right?.......

I know it's a touchy subject... daycare... but I wanted to add MTC. Granted, I'm a dude, and I've got a bit of a different take on the parental role than a mother, but daycare does have its advantages, imho. My daughter, who is now ten, went to daycare when she was three months old up until the time she went to first grade. The best way to do it? Maybe, maybe not, but here are some of the things I see as positives:

She has a wealth of social skills that I'm envious of, even at 40. She understands give and take. She's not freaked out by someone new in her crowd. She can make friends with a post. She understands structure, and boundaries. She is respectful of adults and of other people in general.

She has a close group of friends. Her best friend and she have been around each other since they were 1. But at the same time she's not clique-ish. Last New Years Eve I had eight ten year old girls in my apartment for an overnight party. Some of them had been over before, some were new to the scene. All got along great.

Her daycare provided a learning environment and intellectual stimulation that serves her today.

Are these all from daycare? Maybe. Maybe not. Guess I'm just saying that daycare does not have to necessarily affect them negatively. There are postiives that can come out it. It's what you make of it.

Do your homework. Pick a good one. Pick one you're comfortable with. Your mind being at ease when you drop them off will go a long way.

PS. Oh. Forgot. Potty training at Daycare was awesome!!!

2 years seems like a long time,.....but on the other hand it doesnt. For those of you already in nursing school, do the semesters fly by or is it just one long dragging semester after another???

omg it goes fast! I feel like I just started and im graduating soon!
