Does the NCLEX trick ALWAYS work?

Published

So I just took the NCLEX - PN last week and got ALL 205 questions! I had TONS of "select all that apply" and at one point every other question was "select all that apply". I also had A LOT of delegation questions and prioritizing questions. I even had a few EKG! In nursing school, I was told that these questions were considered "higher level" questions, but when I got home I tried the NCLEX trick and of course it sent me to the credit card page. UGH!!!!!!!!! I'm devastated! i don't know how to feel or think about this. i almost want to start studying to re take the test even thought i haven't received my letter telling me if I passed or failed.

just pay the 7.95 to find out how you did, otherwise you will be waiting like a month for the official results...They just re-vamped the RN exams as of April of this year, as far as the LPN goes, they redid that one in 2012 so the difficulty should not yet have changed. I have however heard from my own instructor, who happens to sit on our Board of Nursing here in Nevada that there is an increase in the select all that applies...what is the nclex trick, I have never actually been told what it is... :p

I would totally pay to get my results faster, although the test center that I took my nclex at does not offer that option. The nclex trick is the same as the Pearson vue trick. When you try to re- register after taking the nclex and If you get a "good pop up" that means u passed, but if u get sent to the credit card page then it means you failed.

"Good" pop up is 99.99% you passed (never read of someone getting the good one and failing).

If you get to the credit card page, it could go either way. Keep your fingers crossed.

Can someone elaborate on this "trick"? Future NCLEXers would like to know!

It is in the sticky at the bottom of the NCLEX forum
