Does Excelsior still accept RT's?

I was looking into the online Excelsior RN program. I know years ago, they accepted RT's (respiratory therapists) and LPN's. Now the website only states LPN's? Does anyone know for sure? I tried emailing emailing them but have not heard back. I may try calling next week if I dont find an answer before then.

It depends. Some have been accepted but it's no longer listed as an option. Try the online admissions live chat available during the week.

One page on their site still says RT are accepted, but it is the only place I can find that still says it, other pages do not.

Live chat is the best way to find out for sure.

Just called and they stated as of 12/31/15 no RT are being accepted, except LPN, LVN and military. Do you know whom you spoke to?

They recently changed some of their admissions requirements and I believe they are no longer accepting RTs. They are also looking at adding other requirements such as entrance tests, work experience, etc.
