Hi Everyone!
I am an RN with one year of experience on a telemetry floor, and a year and a half of OR experience. I have been accepted into an FNP program! It is a brick and mortar school but an online program. I know I want to become an FNP one day, but do I have enough experience?
Cons: I suffer from anxiety and I'm worried that school, and taking a higher stressful job may make it worse. My relationship might suffer, I would have to take out more student loans, etc.
Pros: I could make more of an impact in my patient's lives, have the opportunity to learn more and be more involved, make a higher salary, etc.
Any advice in making this life changing decision is appreciated. Thank you!

Listen, school is costly regardless especially anything to do with healthcare, why not sure but I am in the same boat, Lord willing will be starting my journey towards AGPCNP. I am excited and anxious at the same time but I do my best not to focus on the debt right now because it only hinders you from accomplishing that goal. Try to work on a plan now concerning your loans making small steps and paying down/ towards the loans if able. Best wishes for you and all that are or will be crossing this path?.
