  1. Wow, is this woman suppose to just go die somewhere, I can respect the anger, but my goodness, we don't have to deal with that day replay in our minds over and over again, the family AND she does, is that not enough. Let that woman live her life as best as she knows how, this was a tragic incident no doubt, but I will speak for myself, I am not her JUDGE nor JURY.
  2. Thank you for the response. No-No feelings at all, just real talk, and why does she have to be quiet, what, should she stay shaking in a corner forever, I can not speak on what she is getting paid to do because I am not following this woman like that, but thank you for the update.
  3. Thank you for the response, no need to curse, glad you make sure you read as we all should, as I stated before COLD.
  4. Some of these comments are very cold. Just be careful and prayerful that you don't find yourself in the exact same or similar situation. YES we all know there are multiple things that she could have done different, but we are all HUMAN, not robots as some like to think, and one does not know how he or she may react in a situation such as this one was. Never condoning the actions, or dismissing the heartbreak for the family, but why not reinstate her license, she does not have to be in patient care but she will be able to educate and help some other nurse, NP, physician, whomever not make the same tragic error that she did.
  5. Listen, school is costly regardless especially anything to do with healthcare, why not sure but I am in the same boat, Lord willing will be starting my journey towards AGPCNP. I am excited and anxious at the same time but I do my best not to focus on the debt right now because it only hinders you from accomplishing that goal. Try to work on a plan now concerning your loans making small steps and paying down/ towards the loans if able. Best wishes for you and all that are or will be crossing this path?.
  6. OMG, promise I feel a majority of the time that nurses are treated so unfair, but yet we are needed, it makes it difficult because you want to prove you are capable of doing your job but at what cost? Truly not at the cost of some patients life, and neither at the cost of one's license!
  7. GOD knows I try my best to be a good patient when it's my turn but I have to agree, GOD forbid, but I promise they gonna have to knock me OUT to place an NG tube!!
  8. Ummmm this initial post was a bit dramatic, everyone is different in how he or she handles disappointment, and all are entitled to his or her opinion. I myself lost two previous pregnancies and had 3 healthy beautiful children in the end. Thank God for the bitter and thank him for the sweet. We can not and should not expect to think the same and because different emotions are shown or not shown should not give one the right to judge whether one is being insensitive.
  9. This is truly encouraging, have not even found a job yet, recently passed my boards on 03/01, feeling scared already!!!
  10. I tried to reapply to the board of nursing in my state(VA) to take the exam because I knew I had failed......(exam shut off at 75), recieved a pop up that "I already had a license of this sort", looged in with my username and password and there it was!!!! Did not do the pearson vue trick, went to the actual source! Pray that you passed!!
  11. It can be done, I graduated high school back in 1993! I did the LPN program back in 2007. I have since then graduated RN school!(this year) I did the bridge program, if was tough and I had to take the entrance exam 2x, our percentage for the school I attended here in VA is 66%, so whatever you sit down to do remember to focus, if you want it go for it, GOD first and always, he will get you through!
