Does anyone recommend UWORLD to study for nclex pn

I really liked Uworld - mainly because of the rationales! Great rationales, and its inexpensive compared to a lot of sites. There are TONS of free groups on facebook that you can get NCLEX style questions and great review. Try "NCLEX RN study group". cap sensitive. I don't recommend anything that costs hundreds of dollars - because its unnecessary. They don't have any NEW info - all the info they have is free in your text books - its all in delivery - bells and whistles. But if you are committed, can discipline yourself, and know your content = you'll be fine.

Hi,

I just took my Nclex last week and thought I failed as I walked out of the test site! I then found out i passed! :) So glad this nightmare is over! lol - Anywho, I used Uworld, and highly recommend it. This was my main source of reference. The rationales are everything. I did an average of 175 questions a day. However, I still found the test difficult. The questions on the Nclex are a bit more challenging. They really make you think. But having Uworld as a foundation definitely helped. After completing almost all of the questions from Uworld, I went back and re did the questions i had wrong. Hope this helps!

@Proverbs16:24, what other resources did you take aside from Uworld? (Books, etc.) I'm planning to take mine next month.

I used it as my main source. I also used NCLEX mastery and a goal to finish 3000 questions before taking the exam. I did 25 questions a day.

I used UWORLD to study for my NCLEX and I passed with 75 questions! It was the closest thing to seeing what the NCLEX was like before actually taking the test. I felt very prepared for it! GOOD LUCK!
