Does anyone else need the Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary for their nursing class? I have the Mosby's Meeical Nursing & Allied Health Dictionary and was wondering if this would be suffecient. I am thinking the Taber's is only for reference and not some thing you would be used a text (it is a "reference" book). I am trying to save money here, granted it is not expensive at all but everything counts!!
Does anyone know if I will be okay with my Mosby's?
Thanks,
Missy
I have Stedman's & Taber's I love'em both.
What's the difference? I don't know anything about Taber's or Mosby's. Even in medical assisting school I had to buy a Stedman's Pocket dictionary.
Is one actually better, or more detailed than the other?
I wish I knew what I need. It would be nice to keep an eye out for a good bargain on Ebay. lol

Stedmans is good and so is Tabers. Mosby's has numerous color pics and a color anatomical pic as well.
It just depends on what you like and what the program instructors want the student to have.
Go to a book store and look at these books and maybe you can get a better idea.

I use Taber's frequently at work. Good book. But I am sure that Mosby's is good also.
