:welcome: Hi Natt,
sorry about the late post. I applied also, im not sure about the point system. I know that they look at the GPA and how many prereq you have completed. I need the healthcare spanish class and the director said we could complete that before graduation. I really hope to get accepted. I am tired of waiting. Good luck to you.

Did you get into Lee College, and if so how is it, and how long was the wait list?
Im in Lee College. Im in my second semester. I made a B for the 1st semester. Besides the drive, i like it. I did not have a wait list. I applied for the LVn-RN transition program and got right in.

i'm the lee college nursing program, just finished med-surg i. they go by a point system. you get points by your over all pre req average, science gpa, points towards your bs, like history, gov. or any other science classes. you have to have a good gpa. i got in on my first time. they told us 700 people applied and they only let 100 in. if you have good grades, you should not have a problem. good luck.

I went there for my prereqs so if you have questions about prereqs, I might be of some help.
yes I definitely want info on prereqs. I haven't completed any. I attended school about 5yrs ago and need to get back on track. my mom passed away my first semester. I forgot to drop my classes during my leave of absence and all my classes were entered on my transcripts. so I'm really beginning with a horrible gpa. I want to take these classes this spring and hopefully I can get in fall program by bringing up my gpa.

I'm taking A&P I this semester, and find it challenging. I also have a learning disability which doesn't make things easier. Does anyone know if nursing schools discriminate on disabilities? I've read some discouraging news. In order to become licensed, a student must present documentation to the BON and school.
Any advice on study tips for A&P, plus the info for disabilities would be helpful. Thanks!!
