HCA's are usually for one year..
I know of hospitals in southern Arizona and Texas and California
are offering $20,000 and $30, 000 for 3 year committment.s
$10,000 for each year.....Lots of foreign nurses snatching up those offers....
And HCA gives a $4-5,000 annual retention bonus to their FT employees too , as I understand it.
I used to work for an HCA hospital. I never did get a sign on bonus because I started working there before they initiated the bonus. The bonuses offered at that hospital were $1500-2000.
That was a year or so ago maybe it went up.
I think, though, if the sign on bonus is really high something must be wrong. Obvisiously the can not keep their help.

My neighbor e - mailed me that she has accepted an offer with an HCA hospital and said the HR mgr. said their bonus was $4,000.
I emailed her back that all HCA's
have given $5,000 sign on bonuses ...that for 6-7 years, I have always heard that
5,000 was their standard bonus.
Is she getting gypped??
