I have my nemonics (sp?) memorized and have my labs down to about 10-12 minutes!!! I'm working on careplaning....but my brain hurts! I think I might take off Monday the 4th from studying!! Just wanted to see how everyone else is doing!!!

I have been feeling like "crazy cat lady". I leave next Thursday for Atlanta and have crammed to the point I feel like my children could recite these critical elements. My husband did give me some great advice though. He could sense I was steadily becoming a raving lunatic, and said "What are you so scared of?". To this I replied / yelled, "We don't have $3000 for me to take this stupid thing again!!". He said, "Well you know, whether you pass or fail they already have your $3000, you're not going to get it back either way. So why don't you make them earn that $3000 they have already taken from you. Walk up in that place like your going to go down fighting cause it's pretty obvious you know exactly what you are supposed to do. You might as well not be worried about the money for this trip, it's already gone. If you have to worry about it later on, then that's something to worry about LATER ON." I sure needed this little boost of confidence and I am much more focused today.

oh my! I haven't started yet. Just got Rob's videos in the mail yesterday, and haven't received my cpne packet from Excelsior yet.
Everyone says to print out the guide. Does anyone know where I could take it, or how much it costs? I think there is still a Kinkos somewhere in this county.
I wanted to get into a workshop somewhere, but I am not available those dates. UGHHH
Jan, I printed mine at work for free (they didn't help w/my tuition, so I figured atleast I could have some paper... LMAO) but some people print theirs at Staples, Office Max or Kinkos.... I think it is alot cheaper if you do it in black and white.
I printed my guide through office depot, I believe. You can upload the file on their website, have them print it, and pick it up whenever. I am thinking it was around $45 for the entire guide.
I couldn't attend a workshop either, so I did an online workshop and am so glad I did. Whether I pass or fail next weekend, I know that there's no way I would have passed without it.
nursemomma, are you doing Sheri's online workshop too? She is great. I just e-mailed her a ton of questions and she wrote me back in like 2 minutes. I can't wait to hear all about your weekend soon... and that you PASSED!
Sure am! I can't believe what all I was missing out on just by studying the study guide alone!
I was thinking of her online workshop, but I think I need SOME "hands on" help.
Beechie.... do you like her online stuff?
I think I will postpone the workshop til Sept.....oh well. I wanted to test in Sept. I think I will need more time.

I do like her online stuff and she is always available to you if you need help. The careplan homework is great.
You should see my garage. I have it all set up to practice everything, I cannot afford a hands on workshop so I am trying to give myself the best shot I can. I just watch her and Rob, write everything down over and over, and practice, practice, practice.... they really ARE testing you to memorize and do things their way.
