I had a test yesturday in OB I got a 88% on my first test and a 79% on the one last night. We have our final Tuesday I need a 80% to get a B and a 55% to pass the course. We had Med-Surg and OB together. But I think what happened is that I got a little confindence about my first grade so I didn't study as much for the second. I just what to get through this stuff. I am half way done it feels like forever.

Dont put your guard down until your done! It's easy to get distracted, you will feel like it wont ever end, especially the last semester. But it will. Stay consistent with your study skills. Even over the holiday breaks,, try to keep yourself in routine,, at least an hour or so during your normal study time. It makes it easier to get back into the study time after the break is over.

22 weeks, and counting down. Looking back, it went by so fast; looking ahead, it's taking forever! Tests on renal and burns on Mon, Sociology on Tue, then four glorious weeks of nothing to do but work, housework, and all the crap that's been on hold since August. Then Maternity and Peds. Ay, carumba! I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' no babies!
Good luck, and everybody's right--don't let up now. Still, it must be possible to get through this. Others have gotten through this. Maybe they had superhuman powers, or something. Nobody told me we would need superhuman powers. I wonder where you apply for them. I think if a course requires superhuman powers, someone should warn you ahead of time. Or maybe it just takes regular human powers, but a lot of 'em. I can do that. Maybe.
If, by some miracle, I happen to survive nursing school, and possibly even graduate, I'm going to take one solid week off and sleep.

:rotfl: LOL! I think that we all felt that way, Mike! When I was in nursing school, I was still working as a full time scrub tech-so that when I graduated and only had one "job" I felt like I was on vacation!! Don't worry, it wears off!!

I just finished semester 1 of 4 with a B. My first non-A and it took some getting used to. I too thought I "had it figured out" and made lower on one test than I should have. I was in the same position final-wise. I needed a 17 to pass, a 37 for a B, and a 134 for an A. I have decided to treat each semester and each test from now on as if my life depended on it and go into the final with as high of an average as I can. BTW didn't get the A. :chuckle
